Hey what's up? Man, it's been a long time since i posted on here. Good to be back!

Anyways... I'm still trying to land my first mobe. I've been trying HS Mobes but usually one of two things happens. Either I get the full rotation and lose the rope, or I get the rope and only spin 270 (we all know how painful that can be).

I can spin a crow mobe but am really not that close on it soo... that is kind of not an option right now.

I have never ever tried a whirlybird. They seem pretty scary to me. I land probably about 99% of my tantrums. I think I've fallen on one this year. So the whirly might be an option for me. How hard are they really? How are the falls? I can rotate a tantrum-to-blinds no problem. I usually lose the handle but, it's coming along.

The only other mobe that I never really hear talked about when considering first mobe attempts are Wrapped KGBs. How bad are these? I got backrolls and roll-to-reverts pretty good. Any thoughts?

I know I'm kind of all over the map here but... I wantss to land a mobe. Any help would be awesome!

I would recommend the wrapped KGB. The crashes arent that bad i have thrown a few for fun and came close but i took a nice fall and just gave up on them. Whirlybirds are tough to get down. If you dont commit fully or throw it to early some bad crashes can happen. I messed up my back falling on a few of them cause i threw it to early or did not commit enough. If you have a solid tantrum maybe even try a moby dick. They arent that hard just technical. Once you get the handle its like a wrap trick and it should pull you around if you did it right.

Hope this helps.

I don't think a whirly or a wrapped KGB is a mobe. I believe a mobe has to have a handle pass to be technically a mobe. I may be wrong though.

intotheflats, correct. And if you are that close on hs mobes please god don't disgrace yourself and learn a wrapped kgb. Keep going for your heel mobe, definitely try a couple moby d1cks, try a whirly BUT NO WRAPPED KGBS
