Looking for a new camcorder

I currently have a Sony Digital8 that I just found out is incompatible with Vista so I am going to get a new one. I don't need anything super good and my price limit is $300. I was looking at flash camcorders cause their small and relatively inexpensive compared to HDD or miniDV. Any suggestions?

Apparently there are a lot of compatility issues with Vista when it comes to camcorders. Upon further research, there are quite a few on the market right now that are not compatible with Vista. Leading me to believe that Vista really does suck Mad
