kavlock99, it's a brand new model, so other than crappy cell phone pics, no! LOL

It's "just" a watch with a chronograph, but it is kinetic powered so no batteries. I went with the urethane (aka rubber) strap as I plan on using this watch for boating and such. Still getting used to a flexible strap, been a long time since I wore anything but stainless.

haugy, yep. Arctura Kinetic Chronograph. I *almost* went for the F1 special edition, but couldn't pass up the price on this watch. I think I will get the F1 watch down the road at some point.

I will try and snap a picture when I am home. I probably have around 15-20 that are in the current rotation.

I hope to have this someday in the near future. I drool over it in the Bellagio watch store everytime I go to Vegas.

i hate watches with rubber bands, they get sweaty for me. But the F1 looks nicer... im not sure about the one you got though, i dont think i could rock it, but to each their own.

I really want a patek, or maybe a leather breitling as my next time piece. Im glad i managed to stay away from watches as a hobby, as each one is 5k plus!

jryoung, they had an A. Lange & Sohne store at the town I was in in Switzerland two years ago. They are the most renown watches in Switzerland with the highest prices I have ever seen!! But amazing none the less..

haugy, that watch, even at my price, is stupid expensive!

MojoPin, I love those watches. Just can't justify it. Keep your eye on steep&cheap as other models from Suunto show up often.

jhilly8982, heh, mine are all Seiko thanks to my mom.

jhilly8982, here is the watch I wear daily:

When I run or workout I wear this:

I might wear other watches, but I have to wear my Omega everyday or it will stop.

ohsix, you have an automatic omega, it is no big deal if it stops, just shake it and it starts back up again. Or, buy a watch winder. I own around 10 automatic watches but only have 4 watch winders, but just order a winder with a capacity of 4.

Cheap winders that will do the trick cost only $30 or so on ebay or amazon.

captaincraig, I can't read my Banks when I'm drunk or at night.

At least the Rotolog has a light inside it. Laughing

Mine:

I'm starting to kinda get into timepieces though. I don't have 40k to drop on a watch yet though. Mr. Green

Really, damn this must be the platnium version, I've priced them out more in the slightly used Honda Accord range.

PimpinD2, is that your current watch or the one you want? if so that rolex GMT is in the same price range as a breitling but not a patek which run close to 20k.

Zach M, man i love panerai. i own a couple panerai homage watches as i am not ready to spend the 8k for the real one.

note* homage does not mean knock off, it is a watch made of varying quality by an individual watchmaker with its own movement and specs. the dial does not have the name nor the exact specs to be passed off as an original.

jhilly8982, I don't have a watch winder and don't like to set the watch when I don't wear it for a couple of days. The Omega was a gift; otherwise, I'd still be rocking the Ironman. I always wanted a nice watch, but I'm not sure if I would spend that much on a watch for myself.

I'm looking for a nice watch as a present to myself for our 10th anniversary. She just bought a new ring while we were in Phoenix, so I think I'm going to go with a watch. I've looked at Omega's, Tag's and a few other brands but haven't found one that really stuck out as of yet.

brew, I posted my opinions on watch brands a while back. To summarize: Breitlings are BLING if you don't have a large wrist, Rolex is the Corvette of watches, Tag is the Camaro. Patek is the Ferrari. Cartier, Bvlgari, Longines, Omega, et al are something like Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus. That's just my opinion, but others have agreed.

I would say Rolex is the Mercedes, Cartier is Porsche, Omega is Lexus, and Breitlings are BMW

ohsix, are you basing your "results" on how many you have owned? How they tell time? or how many people have them?

I don't even try to play the watch game in my office. The boss man is constantly wearing watches that cost more than most wakeboard boats.
