my dad has a 2002 chap 18.5, with the v6. It'll will pull you no problem. The problem is it wont hold speed for crap, and the wake is relatively small. But none the less, the cleanliness of the wake is nice. It has really no wash too it untill about 85 feet back. _________________ Im going muddin at waketoberfest 2004

I bought a 1999 Chap. - 19.3, V8, 5.0 Mercruiser 235 HP. Tyler has it correct. This is not a wakeboarding boat - However, it is a solid quality boat - good for all around fun. I board behind it just fine.
After seeing the sick boats thread I need to get a wakeboard boat though - that's for damn sure!
Tower, racks, stereo system - can't wait - probably season after next.
We have put 100 hours on the Chap. in three seasons. SO far so good. |
