here's one of me from summer: http://www.vimeo.com/1577010

the key for me was 1. making sure i get good pop off the wake 2. once i get the handle for the first pass, pull it across my body so i can get it for the second

i haven't landed it since summer but that was what did it for me, just keep trying it, are you having any specific problems with it?

no its just hard for my body to understnad the backside rotation and to do it fast... i think if i just turn my head to my lead shoulder maybe....

and also just spin like that a lot till i get the hand of it.

I attempted some last year but never did land it. I could come down on my board, but couldn't ride away from it. Like Craig said, you have to get good pop off the wake for it to come around better. It's a tough one...I'll probably put that at the top of the list for new tricks.

Backside 5’s are tough to spin fast.

1.) Start with your elbows closer to your body off of the wake.
2.) Make sure you get good extension off of the wake before you spin
3.) Keep your head up through the entire trick

A really good axis is key on this trick. If you are struggling with the rotation regular consider trying it switch. You will be spinning your regular FS direction (faster for most people).

As for the rotation, don't think of it as a FS 5, where you have to pull hard right off the bat to get around, but more of getting the BS 3 around, and then pull hard for the extra 180 as you're coming around.
