Who is picking this game up this weekend. I know I am, and yes I will probably get it at midnight Laughing

. I've never been excited or hyped about a video game, but I can't wait for this weekend.

I'm pretty excited about gears 2. I'll definitely be picking it up on Friday. COD is looking good as well, but it's running the COD4 engine, so I'm not looking forward to it as much.

It looks like I'm going to be spending a lot of time with the xbox over the next few weeks.

I might be picking up this game as well. Need to have my xbox live renewed though. I definetly won't be getting COD5. I played the beta on PC and didn't like it. Obviously it was just like COD4 but with a WW2 theme, other than vehicles there wasn't anything new. I'm more of a fan of shooters from the Battlefield series. Novemeber is full of great game releases. Anyone else getting Shaun White Snowboarding on 360? Oh yeah GT is wakeboarderdave1.

How's this game so far? I've been reading that the multiplayer isn't getting very many good reviews. I started playing GTA IV again, so I think I am just going to finish that out and get Shaun White's game next weekend when it comes out.

I got it, and it just isn't doing it for me right now. That and I have about 75$ to my name, I need to sell it. If anyone here wants to save about 10$ let me know and I will sell it to you for a bit off MSRP. I do like it, but the multiplayer needs to be patched (which they are already doing), and I will definitely buy another copy later once I get some more money.

Multiplayer = S#!T. Save your money until they patch it. In mulitplayer you are lucky to get in a game in less than 30 min. Sometimes it takes me over an hour to get in a game because of the stupid matchmaking crap they came up with. And the shotgun (which is what made gears 1 fun) now completly sucks, and is useless.

Campaign mode is awesome though. i really liked it, and hoard mode is a lot of fun to, but those are the only two good things about it.

Overall I am very dissapointed.

yeah, the shotgun when fired from the hip, manages to not kill anything, or do any damage. The multiplayer when patched will be good, but until then it sucks.

Big- the only way to get in games quickly is to get a party of 5, then you guys will get into games no problem.

Yea thats usually the only time I get in a game is if I get in a party, but when theres not enough people on my friends list to make a party it sucks.

Any idea when it is going to be patched? And are the fixing the matchmaking and the shotgun?

I think they already did one small patch, and I know another one is in the works. I am suprised that they didn't notice these problems beforehand, I wonder if production was that rushed.

boo COD5, its the same gameplay as cod4 just different weapons and environments, nothing really worth spending another 50$ on IMO. Also, dog attacks instead of airstrikes? That is probably the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

BigSteve, they have a pack of dogs run around and attack people(good way of fining snipers, campers, etc....), but you can shoot the dogs and kill them rather easily. I would say they got this idea from the Germans who used German Shepard's as attack dogs in either WWI or WWII.

I have not gotten it yet but I heard airstrikes=artillery in COD5 and the the heli are the dogs.

the dogs in COD:WAW are a PITA i only played online for a little while but i couldnt figure out whose team the dogs were on. and i think my mom picked up the new SWSB but i gotta wait a week, when i go home to play.
