Guitar Hero 3 - videogame

LFADAM, did you get the new guitar for it? It has this slider bar that I'm still not comfortable with. I have trouble getting it to work properly. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be easier for the sliding parts or just something extra that's cool.

So far I like the slides better than hammers. Makes it nice that if you miss one you don't go into the crapper waiting to strum again.

Wakebrad, no I dont have the new one but I hate the tap sections. Cop out. Thats the reason its so much easier. It would be way harder if it was all hammer ons. With the tap sections you can just press buttons and make it through.

LFADAM, yeah, I just played some expert last night. I was able to limp through Mr. Crowley without having any idea what was going on. It does take away a lot of difficulty. But I guess they also have hammer parts as well. I'll have to spend more time on expert.

I did think expert was way too hard on GH3. Those solos are just too difficult compared to any other video game.

Wakebrad, I loved the hard solos. The parts that got me were the really tough rhythm parts...ex In Flames-Take this life and parts of raining blood. I can destroy songs like cliffs of dover or one.
