I'm trying to decide on a board and can't decide. I've been riding my friend's 08 LF Watson and I really like it but I'm thinking either a Hyperlite Marek or Sub VI or LF Shane or Ronix One. I like the width of the Watson but I'm thinking the Shane is the way to go.
Can anybody give me some suggestions? _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

| It's really all opinion, ride as many different boards as you can. Try O'brien, some Hyperlite, etc... The board descriptions don't help you out really, so go to a proshop and go on a demo'ing spree. Do you know if you like a wider board, an agressive three stage, a traditional continuous? What is your bag of tricks? |

I've ridden the Hyperlite premier, LF Watson and a few others. I don't know of many proshops locally. I like the wider boards, they seem to feel better to me. I think I'm going to go with the Shane from what I've read. I like the feel of the Watson. I'm new to wakeboarding but I've learned to ollie, w2w, a few grabs and working on ts 360. I want something with plenty of pop and soft landings. I edge very hard so I want a board that allows it. I haven't started trying inverts yet.
It's pretty much between the Shane and the Marek I think possibly the Watson. I'm definitely going with the Watson CT's, I love the way they feel and respond. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

Thanks to the two guys that actually responded. I did some research and went with the Slingshot Recoil and PB Floyd bindings. I went with the 08 because of the price. Can't wait until it gets warm enough to get back in the water. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

I read a lot of forums and most of the people that own SS say they are great. I got the 08 because of price. I might get a leftover demo board for a back up. I plan on buying a boat this year if I can sell my bike and trailer. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |
