| So I've decided that next year I'll be adding indy glides and batwings to my arsenal. I'd love to have some stuff to think through in my head during the off-season for how to do either of these tricks. any pointers? |

Indy glide: super easy off the double up. just take a mellow edge, and lift the nose of board as your going up/leaving the crest the get the board to meet your hand. If you don't grab it early, you never will. The wake will push you out the back as long as you don't absorb the wake with your legs. Don't let your handle arm all the way out or it will whip uncontrolably, keep your elbow bent ad tension on the handle. _________________

| any advice for that one off the wake LakeIolaLuke? I don't have the fortune of having drivers that drive consistent double-ups, so I try and stick to regular riding. Is it like a raley edge? or more of a hoochie glide edge? |

b33nine, Not much past a wake to wake edge. Off the wake, I've never even tried an indy glide, but for batwings, you wanna really pump your edge at the base of the wake with a heavier front foot then normal. Also, handle position is critical, you want to keep your body over the handle as much as possible, if you let it out, just like the indy glide, it'll whip uncontrollably. Again, get the grab early by bringing your front leg up to meet your hand, otherwise you'll have a hard time making the grab. If you whip it to your hand, after the board has travelled back, Its hard to get a legit indy, it kinda just goes to tindy every time. _________________
