So I have some fine scratches on the bottom of my board..........is this a big deal? They are just big enough to feel with your fingernail.
What do I do to fix them? I am guessing there is some sort of wax. _________________ Someday I will be interested in Fishing..........Like when I'm 102.
it probably isnt a big deal, most boards get a little beat up after a season or two unless you really take good care of them. I'm not sure how to fix it but it shouldnt affect your riding. If your still under warranty you might be able to return it and get a new board _________________ "This suit is really crampin' my hardy boys, and its no mystery"
Ya your right..........at my level I probably wouldn't know any different if I were riding a piece of low grade plywood. _________________ Someday I will be interested in Fishing..........Like when I'm 102.
Sometimes when they grind the boards that are made in the USA you will see something that looks like scratches on edges and around the edges of the board. It is nothing to worry about if that is what you are seeing. I have seen this on some of the boards coming out of the Washington factories. If they are on the bottom of the board then maybe they were from something else.
no problem at all. race boats actually sand/rough the bottom of the hull thats in the water to break surface tension. its not uncommon to see a 2-3 mph gain doing this. _________________
