I've only been riding for a few months- but I'm picking it up pretty fast. Last time I went to OWC I was trying a superman off the little kicker ramp on the slow side after I watched some kid pull it off a few times. I tried it a few times- no dice, but started figure out the mechanics of it. The last time I burried the front side on the landing and sprained the hell out of my ankle.
Question is, would better bindings keep this from happening again? I've got a decent set of open toed- speed lace bindings, but thought that this might be why alot of guys (or girls) spring for the full boot type. Thanks.
I don't think the quality of the bindings will make much difference here. Every time you wipe out there is added tension put on your body in different places so if you take away the ankle issue it might be the knees or the hips next time.
