|
|
Hey I was hoping somebody could give me a hand here. I currently have a laptop, hooked up to a 19' tv via s-video cable. I can display two screens at the same time on the laptop and tv, however they are the same picture.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any software for PCs that allows you to operate the screens seperatly, ie. drag one window to the tv screen and have it displayed, while I work in another seperate window diplayed on the Laptop screen.
Thanks |

Right mouse click on your desktop and click on Display Settings...
Look for a setting like "Extend my desktop to the monitor".
No need to get any special software... |

JeffR, you wouldn't want to... Having them the same resolution would mean that one would be skewed badly, ie/ showing at a non-native aspect ratio...
Just have both running at their highest native resolution... |
