| Closer to the begining of the summer, I went to a stereo shop looking for tower speakers. The speakers they were pushing verry hard were dbot5. I have not seen any feedback on these speakersand was hoping someone may have some info. |

Sparky,
I guess the best way to put it. Is Wet Sounds is an audio company. All we do is marine audio. Nothing else. We have won 2 engineering awards from the consumer electronics association for our PRO 80 speaker and WS 420 EQ. So you know that we have the knowledge on engineering and design to provide the best products and also will be there to support you after the sale with the technical support. Because all we do is 100% focus on marine audio.
As for DBOT5, they have 2 models of speakers, Oh and by the way some pink and lime green golf clubs too.
That's about all I can say about that.
Feel free to e mail me direct twhite@wetsounds.com
Be happy to see if there is one of our dealers near you so you can go listen to the speakers. As I always tell everyone to listen and demo and compare.
Tim

| I'll go ahead and vouch on Wet Sounds, and not just because I'm a dealer.... They're speakers are unbelievable and really need to be heard in person. |

1 of the reasons that so many of the best car audio manufacturers have crap for product these days is because they try to cover the whole market. Take Sony for example. They're car audio in the early 2000's and before was excellent, now look at it. Sony car audio took the biggest turn for the worst when they started the Xplod line. That's also when my shop quit carrying it.
Wet Sounds, as Tim said, focuses on marine audio only. That says a lot right there.... |

| Thanks for the input guys...The fellas at the stereo store in Eugene Oregon had both sets, neither one up for demo, but pushing the dbot's really hard. I think you all made my decision for me, and may plan on getting a set of pro8 and pro 6 before next season. |

Just remember, if a shop is pushing something really hard. It is not always the consumers best interest in mind. A LOT of times it is politics. I know the store you are refering to. And it is politics. Esspecially if they will not do a demo side bys side.
