Cleaning after saltwater

For those who ride mostly in saltwater, how do you typically clean the interior to keep the salt residue off everything - dash, seats, etc... and keep corrosion away.
I figure it's a bad idea to just hose everything down like on a fishing boat and would like to hear from others on how they protect their rigs from the evils of salt.

Rinse with fresh water every time.

I like to wash in the same way I would a car - soapy water and a sponge - then I pressure washer it off. The nice thing about this is it doens't have to add any time to your cleaning regime. Just plug the engine in to rinse through (fake-a-lake or muffs), whilst thatsa doing you can clean round. then rinse it all off once the engines finished flushing.

After its dried a bit I go round with a rag and some WD40 and wipe over all metals, joints etc and will periodically spray all the electrics under the dash and elsewhere.

Every few uses you might also want to grab soem 303 protector and just give the seats a wipe over and possibly run a little carpet cleaner through the rugs...

I budget around 30 mins cleaning for every time the boats out.

If you have a snap-on cover be sure to put vaseline on the snaps unless you want them to rust, they go quick.
