This might be a stupid question, but I was wondering if you could mix different components between brands. For instance a Hyperlite wakeboard and Liquidforce bindings. Is this possible or are there subtle differences between the brands that make it impossible to mix them?

This is just a curiousity thing for me. I don't intend to do this.

Just make sure to check if the screws are not too long. That is the only difference between Hyperlite and LF.

i've mixed hl bindings & lf bindings with o'brien boards and have had no problems - just gotta use the binding screws that come with the bindings.

i've found that some fins are not inter-changeable between boards.

Thanks for all the input. It might help me make a decision when I buy a board.
