Hey what's up? Yeah, I know I can just use the 'search' feature on this website to get some info on this trick but..... what fun is that?? Plus the 'search' thing is crappy on this site. I already tried.

Anyways....... yeah I've been trying to land a Tantrum 2 Blinds off the double up. I ride behind a Four Winns so the double-up just gives me that extra bit of pop that I think I need for this trick. I have tantrums (and Tantrums off the double-up) dialed really good. I'd say I land about 95%. My blind 180s aren't too shabby either. Maybe not as consistant as my tantrums but.. I'd say I land about 60-70%. The closest attempts I've made to a Tantrum-to-Blind is landing with the rope behind my back and then it popping out. There seems to be a decent amount of tension on the rope when I land which makes it difficult to hold on to. Then, I usually fall over. I'm not sure if I fall over because the tight rope pulls me over. It all happens so fast. I need to get video to further examine it. But yea I have no trouble with the rotation of the trick. If I let go of the handle in the middle of the air, I land pretty much perfectly. Any thoughts? Maybe I should try passing the handle before I land? Which version of the Tantrum-to-Blind is easier?

have you tried them without the double up? I can't imagine doing a blind 180 off the double up, I would think the landing would be much more difficult than regular. I'd say work on it away from the double up, or else start practicing blind 180s off the double up to see if you can handle that landing first.

Actually that's pretty good advice. I will try both of those things next time I'm out and let you know what happens. Anything else???

actually i just landed one of these for the first time 2 days ago....i started out my run trying to take my hs bs 180s bigger than usual....after landing a few of those i went for the tantrum to blind and ended up landing it just make sure your have enough room to cut hard then flatten off.....the this that makes the line tension go down is bringing your front knee up off the wake kind of like a hs front flip. This will make you take it straight up! also make sure you dont pull the bs 180 too soon cuz that can cause tension problems as well

How about instead of calling him a tool you help him out with the trick? It really makes you sound like a tool when you dog someone on here for askin for a tip on something......and by the way.....if hes a tool then so is shaun murray cuz thats definitely what he calls it in detention....

Anyways.......try loading the front foot real heavy at the wake and keeping the handle down low near your waist throughout the whole trick rather than letting it come up like you would on a straight tantrum.....that way when you spot the water you can just tug the handle to the small of your back and turn your head and that should make it a lot easier to keep the handle in close to your back when you land so it wont pop out so easy.....and make sure you bend at the waist when you land so you land with your weight oer your toes and dont slip out...hope this helps a little
