OK, I have been doing a lot of research and riding etc., and I have narrowed my search to these 2 boats. Both seem like good wakeboarding boats in addition to great handling boats as far as rough water conditions.
Just trying to rack up any last minute plus and minus.
The 02 Tige is loaded with all options and 6 hours for $38k, the Supra is an 03 basic with 3 sacs and wakeplate and no play pen, $40k
Thanks.

If you have it narrowed down in performance and options .... which one looks the best to you?

stewart,
Of those two, I would lean towards the SSV but the dealer you would buy from is important. Rick Tinker does a great job in keeping his customers happy.
Demo both of them before you buy.

$40k sounds like alot for an ssv with only ballast and wakeplate. I would try to get perfect pass added, racks and some other stuff before you pay close to $40k.

Definently tige 21v throws a nice wake and the taps controls it for different sizes. The tige also is very wide with the 102" beam! You won't be dissapointed

| If you are going for a Tige' I would go with the '03 22V instead of the 21V. I've owned both as well as MB and Mastercraft. The 22V wake is off the hook.

never riden on or behind a tige...but i can say that supra makes a damn fine boat and if u go w/ the ssv u will not b let down...ours is just the reg. launch d-drive, the wake is good enough for me and the whole family enjoys it...and like houston boarder said, rick tinker and the rest of the supra staff keeps their customers very pleased

| dont let anyone else tell you what to get, go out and demo both boats before you make any decisions. This way if you dont like the SSV which many people have told you, you can always go for the Tige so definetly demo first. Peoples preference on boats are most of the time different. Ive heard people say Supras throw a bigger wake then SAN and vice versa so you just to make the decision yourself and not let anyone do it for you.

Well, I got to the dealer and looked at the Tige', they claimed like new, etc., started pulling up cushions and opening compartments found trash, empty beer bottles and some equipment. Looked more used then the claimed 6 hrs. the salesman said, "I gues the guys are using this boat after work" Total turn off.
The SSV was real sweet, but could not get a deal under $42k before tax freight, etc. I was also a little disappointed with the amount of storage.
Which leads me to the Malibu Dealer across the street. They had a blue and silver 03 Wakesetter LSV (23ft) with only 15hrs on it. Used only for demo. Worked a deal and got it for $3k above the Supra, and this boat had more options. Sunday is the day to pick it up!!
Thanks for all the input guys.

| I'm sure Tige would be REAL happy to hear they lost a sale because the dealer was an idiot. You ought to drop them a line and let them know what happened. "I guess the guys are using this one after work"?!?!?! What a fool.
