| OK, I am looking at purchasing a new boat. I have never purchased a new boat and actually bought my current boat from a friend of the family. So my question is when purchasing a new boat is there much room for negotiating?? Thanks.

| Definitely right now there is. Find a left over new 2008, or better yet 2007, and you'll find a dealer motivated to move it since the 2009 are starting to arrive.

| Even late production 08's are cheap.... You just have to find the right dealer. I bought my boat last year in August as a new 2007 and it was about $13,000 off retail.
