I have a brand spankin new SAN220 with over 1000lbs extra weight and no one will ride before noon. I love near Boone Lake and ride all the time, but can never find anyone to ride before noon on a weekend.
Especially no one that chips in gas money.... |

Yeah, I moved here from Carlsbad, CA to wakeboard because after surfing for 20+ years I was sick of the crowd. I tried wakeboarding and was hooked so I moved her and bought a boat and the rest is history. Where in NC? Boone?

Cool, I have a red Nautique 220. I usually stay down past lakeview to avoid the crowds. I launch at Cancun On boone AKA Boone lake Marina. Would love to ride. I like riding at 7am anyday or after 5pm on weekdays. I usually ride til November or til I have to winterize then start again in March (A little Rubber for warmth!).
I have never heard of a Tahoe does that have a good wake? |

Funny you say that...We launch at The TVA Dam and go to the cove right beside boone lake marina.....That long cove...we are always out there and sit and chill and go to the bigger opening on the bristol side...We try to ride as long as we can too and we start up around march-april-ish with the suits too lol...I'll pm you and give ya my cell so give me a yell when you all are out there...
Tahoe is an I/O but we weigh it down with about 700 lbs and trim it up a little....I've got some pics on the share your boat forum...its called 2008 Tahoe Q6 Sport... |

Hey, I think I could make a few trips up there to ride with you guys... and yes I contribute to the efforts of the owner.
I am in KNoxville, but according to the map, Boone lake isn't all that far away. Could you all give me the Town that you launch in so I can get a Map Quest approximation on time. Would love to go early in the Morning. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN

Norris is absolutely perfect during the weekday evenings. Almost always calm smooth water up our way. We ride near the Norris dam area.
Then on the weekends, mornings and evenings are good, but afternoons... forget it. It gets busy as crap.
BTW, I did a search for the "Boone Lake Marina, and Cancun on Boone" and it showed a websie for it, but list the Directions to Piney Flats. Is this the right place?
If so, is about 2 hours from me. Thats not too bad to make a few trips from time to time. Its just too bad the water is starting to get Cold. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN
