I am thinking of buying a Skylon Locker Sack to put in my ski locker and am a little confused.

1. Looking different places on the net I see the same sack, 19" x 58", and one sight says it weighs 375 pounds and other sights say it weighs 600 pounds. Does anyone know which one of these is right?

2. Also wanted to see if someone could clarify the dimensions for me. From the photo, I am assuming and oval 19" wide and 58" long but can someone tell me how tall one of these sacks is in the middle?

3. Finally, my ski locker doesn't have jagged edges but it isn't the smoothest thing in the world. Will these sacks be ok with the outer jacket or is additional padding required?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

If it is the AC-3700 here are the deminsions that I remember.. Measures 19" X 58" with a 600 lbs fill capacity.

Take a look at the Pro X series.. That stuff is built pretty tough.. The Skylon bags are made out of the thin material similar to how the Straightline bags are done. The locker sack does have the cover to provide a little more protection but I still think the Pro X series stuff is stronger.

flixmaster, Thank you for the info. I am looking at the Skylon due to the dimensions because it seems to be the best fit for my ski locker. Does Pro X have one with similiar dimensions?

The tube sac is the one that most are using in the locker.

http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.php?products_id=1064

10" x 16" x 62" about 400lbs

What kind of boat is it? We have all the deminsions on the Pro X series stuff listed on Boardstop. There is a Gravity sac that they use in the Supra boats but you might not have that type of room in your locker. The Supra locker is pretty huge.

flixmaster, Again thank you for the help. I don't have room for the Supra sack for sure Smile I have a Bayliner F17 that makes a nice wake, even though it isn't a "real" wakeboard boat. The ski locker is rather shallow which led me to the Skylon but the Pro X looks like it just may work. Will an Uber Pump fill and empty the Pro X? Does the Pro X have a cover or are they thick enough that one is not necessary?

They are made out of the same stuff River rafts are made from - Valmex? They are pretty tough.

To get the Uber pump to work you would have to chop off your SL quick connect and then replace the end with one of the BFI connectors. To fill the SL stuff you would need the waterbed fitting and you would end up not filling your SL bags with the quick connect.

flixmaster, Now that you got me looking at the Pro X stuff I am sure that I am going to go with one for a locker sack. I made an assumption, and you know what assuming gets you Wink , that all "name brand" ballast bags where made of a very heavy material. I am starting to see the error of my ways......just wish I had seen the error a little sooner Sad
