Hey guys, 1st post, just wondering if you much more advanced wakeboarders could help me out.

My situation is as follows, i started wakeboarding about 6 years ago, but after i tried wakeskating, i havent been on a wakeboard in the past 2 seasons.

Mainly because the bindings i got just killed my feet, and i would be ending my runs after 5 minutes max. And i tried about three differnet board and binding combos, usually older models that weigh a ton and have pretty shoddy, simple open toe bindings.

But now i want to get back on the wakeboard and i was wondering what setups would be good for a re emerging wakeboarder.

I snowboard heavily and those my boots are super comfy. So would i want some close toe bindings? I was looking at the Shane or Watson from liquid force. And the relik or Cells from Ronix. (from these boards, i hear a lot of good talk about the Cells.)

As for a board, i was thinking a 3 staged rocker for more pop. But i also dont' want to kill myself on the landing if i don't land it perfectly.

Sorry for the wall o text. Hope ya'll can give me some tips!

(oh, i'm about 190 lbs, 5'10, if that helps.)

I have the Ronix Relik bindings. They are so comfortable and I feel like I am riding my snowboard on water. Before I had the same problem with open toe bindings. I could only ride for about 5 min and my feet would go numb. Now I can ride for as long as my thighs and arms can hold out.
