I take off fine and begin my invert with my spin but i think i drop my arms too early because i will land on my back sometimes ..... Can someone run by me a step by step of their thoughts and motions when throwing these down. i gotta get it before seasons up. _________________ Land of 10,000 Lakes |

| Cut in thinking about a tantrum, once you leave the wake, wait longer than you think you should. Then throw your lead arm over your head and look away from the boat. Then pray to god you make it around. It took me a ton of tries to get the landing, but the main thing is to make sure you wait and not spin off the wake, thats what causes you to do those weird tanny to blinds. |

i've heard twc's advice before on waiting longer than you think, but i've never thought of it that way - I havent seen any negative effects from going early. Going too late can shorten the window to complete the spin.
That being said, here's my version: Cut into the wake like your tantrum (maybe a little harder), edging all the way up the wake. As you feel the board start the pop, keep your front hand high and look away from the boat. Spot your landing. Everything else is automatic. |
