Make sure you are getting as far out of the wake as possible on the ts edge (for hs jumps). Then progressively edge hs torward the wake, slightly crouching and stand up when you are going up the wake. Make sure you keep tension in your line aswell.

| I wouldn't start by getting as far out as possible. This is what I did and you will most likely loose your edge by the time you get to the wake killing your pop. Start with a short cut and edge progressively and make sure to stand tall at the wake. When you stand tall make sure to stand back on the line, not straight up, so when you extend your knees you will throw a lot of weight on to your heels if that makes sense. The first few times you probably won't clear but eventually even with a small cut you will be able to push it wake to wake. |

| Pconn5, Yes. Listen to what he said. You do not have to cut out far at all to clear the wake. As long as you have a good progressive edge you can clear the wake. I can clear the wake easy going only about 7-10 feet out. As long as you edge right you will clear it. |

great pointers. you can also shorten the rope a little til you get used to the feeling of the pop. make sure your hardest edge is right at the top of the wake and stand tall aka jump. the extension of your knees is what gives you your pop consistently. its all about timing _________________ do work!! |
