Chad H, Yes, they are selling scale models on that website, they just happen to cost as much as the actual racecars.

lcap, I really don't think you understand what you're talking about. The Audi Quattro was easily the most influential rally car ever. Furthermore, well... You really just don't know what you're talking about... Laughing

Uh... Is that a joke?

My childhood revolved around rally racing, you obviously know next to nothing about the sport... Sorry, but you're really showing that you don't have a clue...

DRAGON88,

You're still a child and yes I was kidding---I like nothing about Lesbaru--nothing! So settle down, Audi has always been one of my favorite family touring sedans.

Very true indeed. The Audi literally changed the whole game by introducing the fist AWD sports car. Group B days were insane, just insane, as such I have tremendous love for the cars. Audi really changed the supercar game as well, given how many of them are AWD.

DRAGON88,

Yes Audi changed the race by using AWD while all the others thought they were "too heavy." Subaru's success in the rally world help make Subaru. Lancia, Mini, Citeron (sp), Ford and others all made a name for themselves in the Rally world.

I don't think any "car guy" can ever say their personal favorite was or is the "most influential or the best" of anything. I'd say the K car was the most influential car for Chrysler--it saved the company. Most would disagree because the K cars were ugly, cookie cutter, disposable, slow, etc., etc.

All great cars have there place; none is necessarily better, best, most influential of anything.

lcap,

Dude, I am a girl.. and in no way a kid anymore, and even I know the Audi AWD was the blueprint for so many rally cars.

Including the Isuzu RS AWDs, the STi, and the real EVOs.

R... are you auto Xing? Did you do any of the hillclimbs?

booby bunny,

Most influential Wakeboard Boat of all time: SAN 210
Best Wakeboard Boat of All Time: SAN 210
Best ALL AROUND Boat Of All Time: Sport Nautique
Best Handling Boat of ALL Time: Donzi Ski Sporter
Most Recognized Boat of ALL Time: Donzi Ski Sporter
Least Changed Production Boat of ALL Time Donzi Ski Sporter

Most awards, most copied, but still there is only one original!

Best, Most Influential Rally car???? hmmmmmmmm....by what measure? Most Wins? Best Looking? Best Handling? Least Changed??

To be the "best" or "Most influential" you'd think you'd have to win occasionally, no?

Add another one to the Audi camp.

Subaru wouldn't be where they are today without Audi. No doubt about it.

Oh reason and logic, how you evade lcap sometimes... Laughing

I would continue this argument, but it really is obvious that you don't have the slightest clue whatsoever about WRC, Group B or really anything to do with rally.

Most people that I know of, who raced professionally, or at the least know anything about rally, understand what the Audi Quattro was, and understand its significance.

You on the other hand know next to nothing about the subject, yet continue to babble on making faulty logical arguments.

Gotta love it!! I've traveled soooo far with soooo very few skills. Cool Laughing Cool Instead of 007, or Darkwing Duck I could be Forrest---Subaru that is--Gump. Laughing

FWIW: I'd take an Audi for my WRC also. My dad never had good luck with Fiat or Lancia. Ford is just ford. Subaru advertises to a different type than me--I did used to like the Subaru Brat though. Citreon--old ones are cool but had no idea they still made them.
