anyways i get up most of the time and immediately carve out hs to get clear water and i try to cross the wake ts and fall flat on my face iv done it about 10 times and just cant get the ts carving right so any help would be appreciated! im using an lf omega 143 if that helps

| just remember to keep the rope low and at your hip. also, take your time edging into the wake so that you're not accidentally jumping. absorb the wake with your knees. Work on hard toeside edging only when you are outside of the wake (the side where your heels/back are facing the wake) until you get better at your edging. |

This may not be a problem for you but I know when I was first starting to ride I had a bad habit of looking down at the water and the approaching wake and was falling a lot whenever I tried to cross the wake. Once I started keeping my eyes off the water and started looking where I wanted to go things got a lot easier. Once I figured this out I told my wife about it and she found that she had been doing the same thing without even realizing it. _________________ Vitam Piratea Eligo |

| I did the same thing as krieg when I first started. It made me lean forward and bury the nose of the board in the wake. |

Yep, burring the nose of the board is exactly what was happening to me too. Sort of like trying to ride a bicycle while your starring at the front tire. _________________ Vitam Piratea Eligo |
