HA! There aint none!
Seriously, the south shore is a very tough place to ride. Its always choppy. The north shore is difficult in its own right, but you may have a few brief moments of calm in the early mornings.
I live in suffolk county and I refuse to ride anywhere on the island now. Id rather drive 5 hours to get up to the lake house.

o well. i was gona go today around the bayport area at like 10 oclock but as always it was rough. it is such a tease when i work with my dad on the North shore. I mean there is seriously some potential for decent wakeboarding areas on the north shore. like oyster bay for one
but now since i missed out on today my next wakeboarding adventure (and first) will be out in the great south bay, which at times is calm.....just not when im on vacation there. go figure |

| dunno about the south shore, I ride around the huntington/northport area. Its usually choppy as hell, but this saturday, for a few hours in the morning it was about as good as the sound can get |
