Where is Rice Lake? I'm looking for people to ride with - I do have a boat (well, my parents do), but it's no good for wakeboarding at all.

If you're ever passing through Toronto though and feel like picking up a fellow rider on your way, let me know Wink

Its a decent lake, blows up alot though with that SW wind... it takes time to find calm spots on those days... mornings are usually nice though..

My cottage is on this long river-like bay (Go home bay), just off a lake (Gloucester pool), so it's usually quite calm. Although it does get kinda choppy sometimes, but it's never too bad.

B-girl is your cottage near White Falls? I think I know exactly where you are talking about - I've been riding out there with a mate for most of this Summer (he has a SAN 210 TE).

What are you riding behind at the moment? Which part of Go home bay is your cottage on?

There are quite a few good riders out that way

Psychout, i'm about 15 minutes, by boat (going fast) from White Falls.

If you're driving down go home bay, once you get close to the end of it, my cottage is on the right, just before the last island... an ugly/old looking white boathouse with blue (??) doors.

right now i'm riding behind my dad's old (like... 1970's) mastercraft - outboard. hardly produces any wake at all. it sucks but i'm trying to make do with what i've got.

i know there seem to be quite a few good riders down my way - i just need to get to know some of them so i can ride with them. the president (or VP?) of TSN has a cottage just across from me, those kids are pretty damn good. really nice boats as well...

Hey Man

I live in oshawa, my cottage is in the Haliburton area, so i never get to ride during the week. It would be pretty easy for me to get up there to ride. Drop me a line, i'm not a bad rider eiter, been riding for 8-9 years now.

I also live in Oshawa. Cottage an hour north. No "real" boat to speak of but always ridin behind the tinny with the 25 to hit some rails we've built. Always looking for people to hook up with to ride. If you are looking for a lake to take a boat to head to my lake. Fairly small, not connected to any other lakes and always can find a shoreline that is wind protected.

You should check out Sturgeon Lake (Fenelon Falls/Bobcaygeon). My bay is surrounded by islands so it's the most calm bay on the lake. I don't think it's too far from Rice Lake but I'm not sure (in the Kawarthas still though)
