I've been using a hydroslide and found a good deal on a Hyperlite State ($176 w/ state bindings). My brother weighs 158lbs and I weigh 130lbs. Will a 135cm work for both of us?

I would guess so. I have the same board and I'm about 135 and it rides great. One recommendation I have is take the center fin out early.
