New to the wakeboard scene, but not new to balance sports. I have ridden standup jetskis for the last 4 years, and am looking to add this sport to my list of hobbies.

I 6'0, 178 pounds, and Ive read a board thats anywhere from 137-140 would do me well.

I am looking at a liquid force ps3 based on my research of that search option, but know nothing about bindings and which fit comfortably. My shoe size is 10.5-11 depending on the brand.

If you can give me any recommendations that would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron

Welcome to the sport! I started last year and I am absolutely HOOKED. My life revolves around lake time now LOL.

I would highly recommend the PS3 137. Same exact board I have. I've owned 2 other boards and ridden about 6 or 7 total. This board worked fine for me as a beginner as it has several other people I've since taught. However, it is considered an advanced board and will serve you well for a long time. It pops very well off the wake and has pillow soft landings, absolutely the softest landings of all boards I've ridden.

For bindings, I went through a few pair to find what was comfortable and best. Most bindings hurt my feet and some even put them to sleep. I recently bought a set of LF Cab bindings. Not only do they look badass (like a set of Vans on the water), but they are as comfy as a tennis shoe. I've had other $300+ bindings and they all hurt in one way or another. I boarded for 2.5 hours this last weekend in the Cabs, something I never could have done in any other binding.

I have 3 other guys on my boat that wear my setup, so all my above feedback is not just mine but all of ours, as we unanimously agree that my current PS3 / Cab setup is the best.

I'm 6'2" / 175 pounds. 2 of the other riders are shorter and weigh less than me. The last rider is 6'2" 205 and honestly needs a 142 but he's on a diet to get down to my weight, so he's holding out on buying a 142. For your weight, a 142 would be too big.

BOL,

Dusty
