Started to lear the Raley today on a wakeskate. To my surprise it is going good! As soon as I kept my eyes on the boat the whole time I landed all of the landing on my feet/butt. Question is about the next step. Should I try a smaller wakeboard or should I just go with my 140? I have a 136 I was thinking about?

msimpson- did you look at the boat from when you start your cut till when you land? or did you start looking once you leave the wake?

I started looking once I left the wake. For some reason looking at the boat will make or break this trick. Don't look down!!

size of the board depends on the size of you....most of the time if you dont weigh over about 180 you dont need a 140.....it is personal preference too but generally its easier to ride a smaller board if youre a smaller person

I ride a 140 all the time........I weigh about 180. I just wondered if it would be easier to get a smaller board down doing a Raley. Find out in the morning!!???

Landed great again on the skate. Tried my board and just couldn't get it all the way under me. I am going to fill the tanks tomorrow and hopefully more pop will get me the height I need?????
