2 questions to start with ...
#1 Can anyone suggest any good site or location for beginners tips, or idealy video clips.
#2 My boat does not have a tower or ski pole ... just standard ski ring on transom.
Is that OK for initial learning .... may well add a tower if I like wakeboarding.
We ski & kneeboard off it OK. |

1. go to the home page of this site and check out the tricks tipssection. gives helpful hints and vid.
2. your boat set up is fine. make sure you learn to edge properly from the start. once you can get up and carve around, start work on riding switch. you don't need a tower to do most of the tricks if you learn to edge properly.
the video series called "the book" is the best when it comes to vids and learning but you will have to pay for it. it is a must have if your serious about progress in this sport. |

| Another good site is waketrix.com. You can watch video sections from the DVD and get some good insight on basics all the way up to inverts. Good luck! |

| HHI Dave wrote: | | Argonaut, Check out www.learnwake.com for online wakeboard instruction from one of the top wakeboard coaches in the sport, Kyle Schmidt. He and Mike Mclin are the same people who produced "The Book" instructional DVDs mentioned by sooner dud. |
It asks for a coupon code ... can you pick these up anywhere, or do I have to buy a subscription.? |

| You do not need a tower yet. I can w2w and throw 180's behind my boat as of now. It's a little 17 foot wellscraft that throws a tiny wake. All im using is the ski hook on the back and its not stopping me from anything as of now. I plan to purchase an insanity ski pylon as i would rather not spend the money on this boat as i plan to upgrade soon. I would take a look at the ski pylons rather than a tower if you plan to upgrade your boat any time soon. You can find them here http://www.insanitypylons.com/insanitypylons/products00.html |
