Hello everyone, I just got up on a wakeboard about 3 weeks ago, and have done it three times since then. I got up the first time on a liquid force board, not sure wat kind, and the second one was a hyperlyte with murray bindings, I liked the hyperlite better, but i also think it was a little bigger even though they both were 134's. I'm looking for a board for my birthday, but I need some help. I'm 6 foot, 152 pounds. Any board and/or binding suggestions, I wear a size 11 shoe. I really want to get into wakeboarding and doin sick tricks and all, I dont just want to go on it for a ride u know. So yeah, idk if that helps any, but yeah. I'm still pretty much a newbie, so please help? Very Happy

well dude... just make sure you get a board that fits you well. and that you are comfortable with. what was your friends board like? did you feel comfortable ridin it?

can' tell you what board to get since its like your choice. could help you decide by my input and others on here.

first of all, and obviously, get one your size. bindings would most likely be large, or specifically size 11. the board should fit you by weight. check out a sizing scale. here's one...

Thanx for the input man, I guess I really liked my friend hyperlite, but i'm sure theres other good boards out there. yeah i guess i'm just lookin for some good suggestoins for some boards that might be good for a beginner/intermediate. Also, wat sizes does a large binding usually cover for shoes? Ok, so since i'm like 152, I should probably get like a 135 136, since my friends might be a little bigger than me riding it?

Yes, get a wakeboard rope, make sure its no-stretch. It will make a difference. And as far as your board goes, just get what feels comftorable i ride a board 1 size too big for me because i like the way it rides, just have fun with it. Hope this was kind of helpful

agree on the wakeboard rope. big difference. large bindings usually fall within the 10-11 shoe size. otherwise some bindings will have their own size, in that case you would have to get an 11. but if you have the option of trying the binding on do that. otherwise certain bindings feel differently.

id say when deciding on a board... go with something you may be familiar with. i've got a liquid force shane and its been the best for me. you can find some good deals online for some boards. checkout boardstop, evogear, the-house, anything you come up with. just browse til you see something you like. then we can put our input in on the board. hope that will help

i think startin out with those board you will be able to progress the quickest. its all personal prefrence. go big or go home. ha

All of those boards are sick boards. go with whatever you want man.. dont have to take others opinions on a "newbie" board. when you get better in 2 years... you will be glad you are rockin a era, or a watson, or whatever you are strappin up.

one more thing about the shanes boards, they are wider, so you get a board 2-3 cm shorter than what your used to.

if ya wanna dig deep in your pocket dude... get the murray. this years sh*t is sick
