I fell yesterday on a toeside 5 and fell forward while my board a feet stayed behind my, it started to hurt yesterday and today its pretty bad, I cant extend it fully and when I do I get most of the pain in the middle of the back of my leg. Everyone once and a while if im walking it will give out. Anyone know what I did cause I know alot of you have knee injurys.

Look here son, I just went on WebMD and in my professional opinion it sounds as if you have the sickle cell anemia.

Just prepare for bad news my friend and you won't be as shocked by what the Dr. has to tell you.

I will say what you described is exactly what my ACL and meniscus tears felt like the next day.

Let us know what it turns out to be once you see a Dr. and have the MRI done.

how long did it take to recover? hows it done surgery?

Yes, surgery is the answer for torn ACL and/or meniscus. I'm not concretely sure about recovery time, but I think 6-8 weeks is normal for people who are athletic, less if you're young.

6-8 wks for meniscus
min 6mos for ACL.
