I'm not quite steady while riding switch yet, but I've heard several people on this board recommend to learn it early on, so I'm trying to work on that before I try too much else.
Good luck with your w2w tomorrow! |

I dont know why people do surface 180's in the flats??? If you do it there you might as well pop and ollie 1 because you are more prone to face plant out there. _________________

i do surface 180's in the flats and i think they're easier out there. (i can't ollie in my switch stance worth a da--) after i'll do a hs 180 i'll continue cuttin out away from the wake switch ts and then edge back a little on my heel edge. This causes me to slow down a little and have less tension in the line ( similar to what happens when you try to initiate a progressive edge to soon and can get slack in the rope)
Haven't faceplanted on a surface 180 all year

I think you look real stiff, probably better to just ride 4 abit and get the feel for carving and just get the flow on then 180s will come really natural _________________ A day not wasted is a day waisted... |

josh154, thanks bro. It's a 2008 Malibu VLX and in that video I'm riding with only half the ballast in the center and rear (about 450 lbs) and no bow weight or wedge. _________________ Wake Forest University |

thanks, I still can't believe it... I've been on a sea ray for the past 4 years but when we started having issues with it last year my family decided it was time for something new. There's just no comparison to a v-drive inboard. We absolutely love it. _________________ Wake Forest University |
