Does anybody have a high res closeup of the wire colors plugged into the perfect pass master module?
You can buy a Raymarine ST300 paddlewheel for about half the price of the actual airmar one perfectpass uses. They appear to be identical. The only question is what the plug looks like. I will likely need to wire it up to an adapter, however I do not know the color codes... _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)

Did you ever find out if it is the same? _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

Should be the same. Theres a wiring schematic with the color codes in the troubleshooting PDFs on the perfect pass site. In speaking with their tech support they said it should work with most 4 vain paddle wheels, although a transom mounted paddle wheel is inherently inaccurate. From the looks of it, the raymarine is the same as the airmar. You still need to pick up a 5 position ampmodu connector from mouser electronics or somewhere.
Also, the perfect pass paddlewheel comes with an extra paddlewheel and axle, as well as a blank plug for when you pull the boat on the trailer. Between teh cost of the paddle wheel, the extra wheel and axle, the blank, and the correct plug, it really dosnt save you much to try and do it yourself.
If you already have a paddle wheel installed in the boat for a factory speedometer, it might be worth while to try and splice in. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)

Confirmed, more or less. The raymarine is indeed the airmar piece. It does come with the plug, but no extra paddle wheel.
Check out mouser electronics for part number 571-5-103957-4. That seems to be the 5 pos ampmodu mte connector.
Good luck. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)
