I'm thinking about buying one of these boats, however, I can't seem to find any info, tests, or reviews on it to make a educated decision. Anybody know of a online source or how any experience with this boat?

I think Level 10 Mag did an article on it a couple of years back, but that's the only one I know of who tested their v-drive. I'm pretty sure that WaterSki Mag tested their closed-bow direct-drive a couple of years ago, but not the v.

The best decision you can make will be your own. Most of the magazines aren't that informative and they tell you pretty much what the factory says.

I dont have any experience with the infinity air. I did own a 2001 zx-1. The boat was really nice but they did make that hull and engine setup for skiing. I had to load the piss out of it to get a good wake. I think the v-drive in the back of the boat would probably be pretty good. The zx-1 was a very nice from a quality standpoint, if I was a skier I would have probably kept it. I had a deal worked out with a dealer where I kept it for the year and then sold it. No complaints from me on it.

The best boats test was in the 2002 boat buyers guide. This years boat test was like bigmac said, it was from the manufacterers perspective, and nautique did have their boats in the 03 magazine, because previous years, they pulled them out because they rated shitty by the magazine. Check out the ski supremes www.rvmarine.ca or www.skisupreme.com
