ok so me and my friend were trying these today and we just ate it. I was getting all the around on the 360 but was over rotating my flip and land on the side of my face. Anybody know how to do these? or got any advice
you gotta do a mexi-backroll..... come in nice and easy so you go wake to wake with your backroll. Throw the flip striaght down towards the toe edge of your board. also when your wrapping yourself make sure the handle is wrapped up so its right next to your back hip or maybe even in front of it a little. then just throw the flip let go of the wrap handle once you leave the wake and hopefully all goes well. If your over rotating the flip either your cutting in to hard or throwing the flip to much. let me know how it goes......i just started landing these last year _________________ Rip it up
can't do a kgb though. but when i get around to it, gotta make it true
i haven't had a wrap handle for ages though, so i'm sorry that i cannot help you on this one. i'll give it a shot though
when it comes to landing on your face, don't throw it so hard. i think you're trying to hard to get the flip AND the spin that you throw it too hard to get the full 360 that you're flipping faster. i did this a few times when i was first getting around to heel mobes. just ease off a bit and relax. the rope will do what it's supposed to do to get you around. just loosen up and throw the trick a little less hard. it will comes around and you'll feel a lot better through the air. good luck!
when I do wrapped k's I come in with no slack between the small handle and the big handle but I have all the pressure of the pull on the small handle.....so lean on the small handle as much as you can and try to have no slack between the two....that way when you let go of the small handle it wont jerk you.....for the take off I just make sure to hold the edge all the way through the wake with more pressure on my front foot than my back foot......off the top of the wake I think of takin my front shoulder and throwing it down to my back knee and let go of the wrapped handle......just make sure you get the pop before you let go of the wrap handle though.....at that point just try to keep the handle pulled into your waist and the trick should come right around.......if youre overrotating then try to slow down your initial edge......as long as you load your front foot at the base of the wake the trick will get whipped right into place......good luck and let us know how it goes man _________________ Whats the difference between a pickpocket and a peeping tom?
