the big request for updates it crashed apples servers and iphones cannot completely update . and now i have a brick that only makes emergency calls until apple fixes this.

apple finally screwed up big time

I couldn't believe how effing HUGE the lines were in front of all of the ATT stores this morning on my way to work.

I checked for an iphone update yesterday, it said mine was current w/ 1.1.4

& will check again on 7/17/08.

What did i miss?
It's been working all day w/ phone & text use.

Apparently the upgrade for 1st generation iPhones causes them to crash. Not a lotta tech support for it right now 'cuz the iTunes server crashed so the in-store setups that are mandatory for the new 3G are essentially dealing out paperweights.
