I've been trying these for a couple weeks and I can get them back out behind my, but when I do that I either miss the grab and bring it back and land, or I get the grab and can't get it back down. So usually I end up freakin out mid air and doing a crazy non grabbed batwing to revert to slide out.

Whats the key to getting these out, grabbing and then bringing them back in?

Really try to get the grab before you extend

Hopefully that way your extension is more natural, and you get the snap back like a normal raley

the key to getting the grab is to look at the place on the board that you want to grab and dont take your eyes off of it until you make the grab.....I load my front foot at the base of the wake too so that when it pops it pops my front foot straight up and makes the board a little easier to grab.....as soon as you make the grab though put your eyes to where you want to land and start bringin her down....hope this helps!

grab early early early, especially if you want to do it indy or crail. I learned them by whipping it to my hand, but was grabbing it tail or tindy the whole time. To do it legit, get way over the handle with your shoulders pump your edge up with your front foot right at the base of the wake, and don't let the handle out in front of you.

The hardest thing for me to learn was the body positioning going into it. I almost curl my front wrist over, and keep the handle super close to my hip. This keeps my shoulders over the handle, so you don't get rotated over onto your back.

ilubronix, thanks brosef... I love that rail. it took me forever to learn backlips on it, cause when i first started learning them I overshot once and rode the entire length of it on my shins, so i had a big mental block after that

LakeIolaLuke, I've been hitting that rail since its been in and not till this summer did i decide to ollie backlip on to it...It's such a high intimidating backlip ollie. I got first off the dock after the cable shut down, tried it and hit it perfectly. Next try, not so successful. Still not comfortable with it
