Raleys off kickers

Im sure i read a thread about this not long ago but i cannot find it with the search facility.

Im keen for some tips.

Do you ride up the kicker flat or on edge (this doesnt sound appealing as i recon i would slip out)

Once extended is it the same as a regular raley i.e. push the handle back down to the water and bend knees?

Any tips would be great.

I'm pretty sure you just have to build up alot of tension in the line, you dont wanna hit it ON edge, but be edging all the way up to it.
