|
|
Hi All,
My son and I tried wakeboarding for the first time this past weekend. We borrowed a friends CWB Inferno with TORQ L/XL Bindings. My son was not able to bear trying more than 2-3 times to get up before he had to remove the bindings due to severe pain in his toe area where his foot is widest.
If I were to buy XL bindings for him, any ideas on bindings that would hold well at his heel while allowing him the width he requires at the toe-end of his foot?
THanks!

I have a 14E....sometimes I can sneak into a 13E depending on the brand of shoe.
I wear 12/13+ open toe Watsons and they feel as good as any bindings I have ever put on. I have also tried on the Transits and they feel great as well. Also tried the CWB Zues XXL's and they were okay...... Pretty much every company makes a binding that will fit your sons feet, it is just what fits it best.....
I would never get something before he tries it on. |

One of my regular riding buddies has feet like cinderblocks. He had a very difficult time finding comfortable bindings. He ended up going with the Liquid Force Sphynx "Magnum" size. He loves them. They're not in the LF lineup anymore, but you can probably still find them on closeout.
For a 2008 model, I'd check out the Vantage which is also available in the "Magnum" size (12-13+). Can't say for sure because I haven't ridden them, but it seems that the velcro would be good for fine tuning the fit on extra large feet.

I use the LF Transits, 12-13+ magnum size for my size 13 dogs. Tons of room and super comfy, do the trick even when they are on loose. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News |

try some of the CWB hinge tech's, even with a big foot sliding your feet in is so amazing. the large/xl's fit my size 13 with ease. _________________ Lake Shelbyville, IL |
