had my 1st board/bindings delivered today

hyperlite crueiser w/ vario bindings

bindings were really difficult to get on & half my toes hung over once they were on. is that normal?

varios come in sizes mini, standard, & XL

i can find no size labels anywhere on the boot or box

how do i know what size i have?

shanekennedy,
What size foot are you?

and vario's should be easy to get on. These are probably too small for you.

Should be a small tag on the grip. It will say Mini, Std or Xlarge.

Looks like you have mediums then.

the varios aren't sized using small/medium/large, instead they're mini/standard/extra-large

medium would be good as it would equate to standard

but i'm wondering if the "M" is for mini

i ordered a standard size

since this is my 1st board/boot, i'm unclear on what to expect on the fit

still waiting to hear back from dj's board shop on their take

The size on the bottom of the baseplate is the size of the footbed, not the size of the binding. But in this case since Varios are sized mini/std/x-large, the baseplate size should also be the size of the binding. All of my HL bindings at the shop right now actually spell out the size on the bottom (mini, standard, x-large) instead of just putting one letter (like yours says M)so I don't know for sure what size you've got, but I'm guessing M means Mini in this case since you have to struggle to get your foot in the boot.

If you could take a few pictures with a ruler next to the binding (for size reference), maybe we can help a bit better.
