I'm in this horrible habit with my ts fs oa 540 I have been trying recently and I cant seem to figure it out. I always rotate to over 540 and I dont seem to get off axis enough. I can do scarecrows and on axis 540 fine but i cant figure this out. Any help would be great. Heres a video of 2 of my attempts today....

Cwakeboarder19, take it to 7! It looks like you are just spinning too fast...it really looks like youre going for the 7. I mean you dont just overrotate you try to pass the handle. Anyways, your technique looks good. Maybe try staying less compact (knees straighter and/or arms not as tight in) to slow down your rotation. |

just dont throw it as hard. you could try to take it to a 7, but ur gonna have a hard time landing the 7 because you're landing and you're still off axis. try staring through the handle as long as you can before you start spinning, which will delay you're spin, and give you more hight to come back on axis. Also, delaying your spin will help going for a 7 as well, because you have more height, and all you have to do is pull the handle harder. an alternative to staring throught the handle would be to look at the boat as long as you can. _________________ www.munsonski.com

I'm not tryin to hijack or anything, but how do you initiate the rotation?
Do you trip it like a scarecrow, or do you pop and force the handle down as you pass it? |

the wake does a lot of work for you when you go off axis, so you don't have to spin as fast. slow it down a bit and focus on a smooth handle pass, istead of fast handle pass. _________________
