just wondering what you all figure are the most important things when it comes to shopping for new bindings -
you can rank first to last or whatever, post pics of your favorite bindings, coolest looking, best performing, etc. - |

I just check to make sure it doesn't say CWB on them. (sort of)
I guess I'd say performance since I like stiff bindings so the stiffness is a huge factor for me.
I'll also put looks pretty high up there. If I'm spending $300 I think I deserve something that looks decent. |

Can't really narrow it down to just one thing. I want a really comfortable binding, but not one that gives me no support. So it has to be comfortable yet have good performance.
I put looks high up there too. Like King of the Tigers said, if I am paying 300-400 dollars I want them to look good on my board.
Easy on easy off is a big plus too.
Put it all together and you have yourself a perfect binding.
I ride the 2007 Watson CT. Best bindings I have ever put on my feet. |

i have no good shops close to me, so i normally read up on then and reviews of the bindings. i normally look for those who mention comfort, open/close toe (preferably closed), check the looks, check the support, and recently i've looked into the heel/toe lift. price is not a factor to me...i like higher quality gear. easy in/out isn't a factor because as long as they are comfy, i'll find a way in them (plus i make sure the size is right).
so, to put it in my order comfort, open/close toe, support, looks, heel/toe lift. |

In order...
1. Comfort
2. Performance
3. Easy on/off
4. Looks
5. Price
6. Versatility for other users (non issue, I don't loan my primary board)
I ride '06 LF Shane closed toes and plan to replace them with '08 Shane closed toes. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com
