My hubby just got the 2007 CWB Factions. Before them he had the ooooold hyplerlite Varios, with suction and velcro straps.
He likes these, but they are a little heavy he says, and tight on his ankle until you break em in. But I just got the female version (the Hoffman sisters ride em too! ) and I've heard they are awesome bindings, both male and female.
$130 is an awesome price for good bindings! We payed $165 shipped on ebay. |

stay away from the hinges. you can find a boot that's just as easy to get in and out of without all that crazy hardware hanging off them. LF alphas or transits are great, so are Ronix Oxfords. and if you feel like going a little bit out of your price range, the LF vantage is probably the best open-toed boot on the market right now. _________________

LakeIolaLuke,
Crazy hardware? There is one hinge. I don't think that's too crazy. I just got bindings to replace mine, but it was just cause i felt like i wanted new ones. I'd get the hinge again if i could get them within my price range (zeus or answer were too much for me).
Oasis137,
I just got a really good deal on some 07 transits from boardstop. I haven't ridden them yet, but when i do i'll post again. |

Word, i have Ronix Scouts and they are just as easy to get into as hinges. Plus they are alot more comfortable than hinges. _________________ Also Calskater23 |

-1 for Hinge Tech. Actually -1 for CWB bindings in general. (although I have not ridden their 2008s) The hinge really isn't that amazing and the bindings don't compare to what else is out there by the other manufacturers, imo.
Is there any way you can demo? |

I went to my local shop today and bought, well actually im demoing the liqiuid force vantage's. $329. They dont let you just demo the bindings so they gave me a brand new 08 liquid force lyman 143 to go with them. The boards $399 so if i like the board i might but it too.
Im 90% confident that im buying the bindings however. AS of right now im not buying the board but i have 5 days to ride with it so if i really like it I might spring for it. _________________ 93 four winns

Chad H, The massive hinge lever, the cable, that plastic heel cup...just not the best system ever, especially considering that you can step into those boots without even flipping the lever back. just my two cents worth. I guess im a minimalist. _________________

| Call Ryan at www.americanboatcenter.com 865-777-BOAT. He should be able to hook you up with some 08 shanes or watsons for around $300 or less. |
