technically it's a method, melan is front hand heel edge between the feet, method is front hand heel edge infront of front foot

so trick at 1:15 is method backside 180

Actually, A method is grabbed on the heelside edge of the board between the front and back foot. A good visual would be a mix of a melon grabbed fashion air with a backside shifty mixed in. To be a proper method, the passengers in the boat should be able to see the whole bottom of your board.

if you look back to the roots, a method doesn't have to be tweaked, the ones like above used to be what you'd call a cross boned method, now they just seem to be the stock method.[/img]

Yeah, wake physics got it wrong. The roots of grabbing are skateboarding. In skateboarding, there isn't really the area on the edge between the foot and the end of the board. There is a little on the front foot for slob, but that's really the only kind of respectable grab in that region.

A proper method is grabbed between the feet and tweaked just like the ones pictured up there by brinks, and the one I'm doing in my profile pic, wooooo!!!! Laughing
