I have a 1989 Supra SunSport. The pylon is 2" in diameter at the top and tapers wider as it approaches the floor. I'm looking to get an extended pylon, but I'm not sure what size. Has anyone else put an extended pylon on this boat?
Thanks |

Thanks for the reply. Nice looking boat. Much better shape than mine. Anyways, I would like to buy a Fly High X-Pole for wakeboarding but not sure what size to get (either 2.5" or 3"). The boat is an hour away and I had a friend measure the pylon but he didn't do a great job at it.
Thanks |

pfezz, Just get one that is the diameter of the base of the pole. You'll have to remove the T at the top of your factory pylon to slide it over.
Some say with heat and a sledge you can work it out. It was pressed in when it was made. I just took a hacksaw and cut it off at the pylon, then took a small die grinder to smooth it off, and then painted. Looked like it was a solid pylon with no hole when I was done.
I got a Skylon 1 piece for my old Supra. Worked great. It was a 2.5"
