My feet barely fit into the boots on the board I've been riding for the last 5 years when out with my cousins. The boots were even tougher getting off. I finally got tired of strategically faceplanting to remove the board over Memorial Day weekend. I've had enough head injuries in my life!

I bought a new Liquid Force PS3 and CWB faction boots & we're heading to the lake for the entire week starting monday. When the board came in the mail last week, I started putting things together and ran into a problem with the fins. The board came with 1.5 LBF fiberglass fins. When I lined the fins up with the holes on the board, there was a gap between the board and the middle of the fins (think of a rainbow, where both ends touch, but not the middle). No matter how a switched and turned the fins, they wouldn't fit flush agaist the board.

I inserted the bolts, but didn't tighten them down. If I do tighten them down, will the fins flex and flatten to the board or do I have the wrong fins for the board? I didn't want to break anything before I even get the board wet. One other item - the plastic washers go between the head of the bolt and the board - right?

Thanks-

Yes about washers, and yes about the fins, don't over crank them but they will sit flush after you tighten them up.
