Im looking for a rope/handle combo for about 100 bucks. Maybe get the coated rope with a carbon fiber hanndle? I dont need or want a wrap handle. Any suggestions? _________________ Lake Shelbyville, IL

damn, a carbon fiber rope must be a bitch to store. =p
ebay has a ton of deals, lots of coated bullet lines on there for like $50
boardersbestbuy.com will also throw one up every now and then, so if you arent in a huge hurry, you can watch that site. _________________

think so? the first one seems a little better quality, but one of the reviews says it sinks like a rock... _________________ Lake Shelbyville, IL |

brichter14,
I'd go with the first one. Coated line, and it's a nicer handle. I've heard a lot of good things about the leather handle. I also like the coated line because they don't get the little loops in it like non coated does. |

brichter14,
I'd talk to others and see what they have to say. My premier handle sinks if it's been in the water a good bit, but it's not really an issue for me as it comes to the top long as i keep the boat going at a decent speed. |

yeah, thats how my current one is now, plus with the tower its easy for passengers in the boat to hand the person in the water the rope.. _________________ Lake Shelbyville, IL |

| Tacky, grip and soft. Leather Grip works best for me. Comes with a coated line for $99.99. Best quality for the price out there. |

LG is the best handle out there IMO.
mine would sink like a rock if it sat for a little bit, but I pulled the ends off the handle, plugged the ends with foam, and replaced the ends. Now it could float all day.
EDIT: if you do get it, you should follow flixmaster's link. Same price and you would be supporting wakeboarder.com. |

I was down Tuesday, but besides that I haven't been in the last couple weeks. We have been on Decatur and Clinton lately. |

We ride up by Wolf Creek Park, or across from point 2 if the water is decent.
At Shelbyville it is usually my parents boat. I don't have any pics, but it is a Tahoe Q7, white with a red stripe down the side. |

what kind of foam? like soft stuff that you would have for seats? or a hard sealant foam? _________________ Lake Shelbyville, IL |

| I just used some expanding foam, because I had it already. Not what I would recommend but it worked. Silicone would work and be a lot easier and cleaner probably. |
