DRAGON88, Yeah except it gets hotter than hell. May end up getting a white VLX down the line.

J-Ro, how much harder is it keeping from seeing the water spots versus a lighter color?

Okie Boarder, Just spray it with a vinegar/water mix when you pull it and wipe it down. It's no worse than anything else except white.

J-Ro, very nice looking boat.

I have a friend that has one almost exactly like it.

does it have a black hull, or is it white bottom?

if it's black, then it's pretty much the same except a year newer.

My VLX had an all black hull. In retrospect, I'd prefer to have a white bottom. The bunks leave scratches on it big time when it slides on and off from road grime and sand from the water.

I'm pretty sure J-Ro's has a white bottom. I have a pic of it around here somewhere.

Ahhhh, never heard of that. My boat is kind of a medium blue on the top half of the hull. Right now I use Meguiar's Spray Detailer when I wipe it down. I'm going to try the Babe's product and see how I like it, then go from there.

So, does V/W strip the wax at all?

I met a guy at the ramp who used to mix vinegar with Babes Boat Bright last year. His ride was pretty clean looking. It might be worth a try.

Hmmm, I think I'll stick with the Meguiar's or Babes. Interesting thought about mixing the V/W and Babes, though.

Last year I just wiped the boat down with damp towels when I pulled it out. This year I'm using the Meguiar's and microfiber. So far, no water spot problems Mr. Green

Malibu is one of my top boat choices when I go to a wakeboat. I'm looking to get something several years old like the VTX, VLX or the 23LSV. The other option I'm looking at is the v-Ride, brand new. I want to stay in the $30-45k range.

Cool, thanks for the info. I've looked at the v-Ride quite a bit and it is one of my favorites for the $40-45k range, new.

Go to TMC, they have pics of the new V-Ride (08 VLX). Not a fan of the interior design of the new V-Ride 21 and 23 but its a great deal. Although it may F-up my resale value.

I wax the boat every couple months so the stripping doesn't bother me. One thing I like is that the V/W mix takes the dried water spots right off. Plus if you run out of it you can just pee on the boat.

K-dub, Its white on the bottom with a grey stripe in the rear.

J-Ro, ahhhh....didn't see the grey.

My friend's boat is solid black, except white on top of the gunnels.

that new 23 V-Ride is going to be a good seller......that is, if the economy and gas prices start to cooperate. Rolling Eyes

scott a, Always thought those were dumb but now that I think about it, I may get one for just the starboard rear seat where people always step. I put a towel down all the time and that may work better.

Yeah, I'm not really a huge fan of how they look, but as far as functionality they seem to work great. One of the boats at the Delta Wakeboard Camp has (or had) them.
